- First of all, the dentist would assess your need for whitening because not everyone is a candidate for whitening. Also some people need to undergo some treatment to strengthen their teeth before embarking on this process.
- During your visit, your dental therapist would place some gels to protect your gums before putting mouth trays filled with the bleaching agent on your front teeth. After this, they would shine a special light directly on the teeth.
- You may require more than one visit in order to achieve the shade that you desire. In between these, you can have touch-ups with toothpastes and strips.
