We carry out various surgical procedures to help improve upon the health of our patients. Sometimes, we invite a visiting team if required. The following are some of such procedures:
Simple Excision
If you have a small growth on your tongue, lip, inner cheek or gums, we can assess it and if need be, remove it. Most of the time, these growths are harmless. In the event that there is something more sinister, then the appropriate specialist would be invited or you will be referred to see one.
Periapical surgery
Sometimes, a cyst or similar growth may develop inside the bone. This may be related to a tooth or not. There are many types of periapical surgery and your dentist will be able to decide on what works best for you.

Incision and Drainage
Incision and drainage is done to remove fluid, usually pus, from an abscess. It helps to relieve pain as well as promote recovery.
IMF (Inter-Maxillary-Fixation)
We wire the jaws of those who have experienced physical trauma that requires wiring in order for the jaws to heal in their normal position.
Jaw wiring can also be done for weightloss purposes. It involves passing wires in order to lock your jaws, limiting your mouth opening and thus, the amount of food that you can take in.
