An oral check-up happens on your dental consultation. During the check-up, a dentist asks you some questions, then looks out your gums and teeth and may take a few radiographs (x-rays). The dentist would then diagnose your need for treatments and give you specific advice on your oral health. You may also need routine cleaning done.
It is advisable to have a dental check-up at least 1-2 times in a year in order to maintain your health and save you from developing serious problems in the future.
